I'm also a bookworm. One of my favorite is "The Road Less Traveled" by M. Scott Peck. I love Sue Krafton and have read most of her books. I love most murder mysteries. My favorite authors of all time are John Grisham and Lisa Scotoline (love those courtroom dramas!).
OK you made me really put on my thinking cap with your trivia questions--here go my answers:
Don Denkinger's claim to fame or should I say shame--he was a major league umpire who was working the world series game with the Cardinals and the KC Royals, ninth inning--cardinals leading 3-2 and Jorge Orta (I think) hits a ground ball and is called safe at first base-but the tv replay shows that the ball got there first, not Orta-so after a couple more hits KC went on to win--he never lived that one down.
the president who served the shorest time in office was Wm Henry Harrison who was president for a month-he got pneumonia after being elected and died .
Jonnys Quest's best friend was Hadji--think his dog was bandit
Liberty Valance was shot by Senator Ransom Stoddard, played by James Stewart
Flash was a college student do-gooder who got his super speed after he had a lab accident which doused him with lots and lots of water?
